Naruko rubbed her face against Kakashi's neck, breathing in his natural musk. The smell of sex was strong in the room. "I should get back home before Sasuke wakes up" she thinks, slipping out of her lover's strong embrace. Who knew Kakashi was a cuddler?
As she was slipping out, she took another look at Kakashi's peaceful face. He was so handsome, she wondered why he was hiding his face from the world? It was like the gods themselves sculpted his face. Squinting her eyes she saw a mole on his lower lip.
She blew him a kiss before she escaped through the window, giggling to herself. The sun was slowly rising from the horizon, she leaped through the rooftops, performing spins and summersaults.
She soon reached the Uchiha district and very soon, their house. Once inside she took a long shower to be rid of the smell of sex, cleaning herself thoroughly to ensure Kakashi's seed hadn't splashed and slipped inside her accidentally during their coupling. As much as she loves the idea of her getting pregnant by a strong and mighty mate it still wasn't the right time
And she was sure the lord Third, Sasuke and Iruka would kill Kakashi for getting her pregnant.

They waited at team seven's usual meeting place for their sensei and...Sakura, to show up. Sasuke was picking at his nails while Naruko braided her hair. "What are we going to do once her parents find her body and demand an investigation?" Sasuke asked Naruko.
"We stay out of it, mind our own business, pretend to be concerned and mourning teammates. Then move on" Naruko said with a shrug. "What if Kakashi pries for answers?" Sasuke asked. "What if the investigation leads to you as a suspect? You were the last person with her"
Hearing this, Naruko smirked cruelly, but she made sure Sasuke wouldn't notice. "As far as I'm aware, Sasuke, you are the only one who knew I went to have dinner with Sakura"
Sasuke's eyes widened, before he nodded. "You're right. But what about Kakashi? What do we do about him? He's the team leader and one of his subordinates died just yesterday seemingly out of nowhere, he's smart he'll figure out something happened"
"I'll tell him the truth then. That Sakura tried to poison me, but I tricked her into eating the poisoned food. He'll be even more sympathetic when we tell him you almost died last night from the poisoned bento Sakura left you. The bento that was meant for me"

"Of course I'm right" Naruko said. Soon their sensei arrived, typical orange book in hand. "Yo!" He greeted. Naruko grins and jumped on him, wrapping her legs around his waist she buried her nose against his neck. She whispered "You're late" which made Kakashi shiver.
"And you left my bed without telling me" he whispered back, almost in a predatory growl. Naruko giggled before giving his neck, the covered mating mark , a sensual lick.
She dropped from Kakashi and went to stand beside Sasuke. The boy was glaring at Kakashi, jealous evident in his eyes. He scratched his mating mark aggressively and stood closer to Naruko.
"Sakura's still not here?" Kakashi frowned. "She's even later than you, which is unusual. Maybe she's sick?" Naruko played the innocent teammate so well Sasuke would have fallen for it if he wasn't her accomplice.
"Hm, let's pay her a visit after our mission" Kakashi said, not really concerned for the pink haired girl all that much. She was a threat to his mate and he really would much prefer she was away from Naruko, so he wouldn't end up hurting her himself for hurting his mate. But still, she was his subordinate who was placed under his care, so he has to look after her.
"What's the mission?" Naruko asked.
"Catching a jewel thief" Kakashi revealed.

Their job was easy, and didn't really require much effort. They caught the thief after half a day's sleuthing and celebrated at Ichiraku's ramen.
"We should bring some ramen for Sakura!" Naruko said brightly. Sasuke was a bit disturbed by how.....easily she can mask her cold indifference. How easily she can create this mask of a happy, unassuming, kind teammate who is excited to see their friend.
But Naruko is a ninja, a talented one. And part of being a ninja was forming personas to use for infiltrating and missions.
The three of them walked to Sakura's house in silence, Naruko walked in between Sasuke and Kakashi. The man had his hand around her nape in a protective, maybe even possessive way. Sasuke made sure to walk close enough so that their arms would brush on occasion.
She eyed the mark on Sasuke's neck, he wasn't keeping it covered anymore. She felt a surge of pride and giddiness. Was he...showing off that he was hers? That he was HER mate? The very thought almost made her skip. It didn't help that Kurama was whispering to her ears that Sasuke and Kakashi were her mates, hers..hers...only hers...
Unconsciously she started rubbing her belly, imagining little kits in her stomach. Oh to be a mother fox....
"Stay back" Kakashi suddenly said halting them. They had arrived at Sakura's house, but a crowd was standing outside.
Naruko and Sasuke looked at each other, faux worried looks on their expressions. They pushed through the crowd and made it to the front.
There was a couple, Naruko recognized to be Sakura's parents, sobbing in each other's arms. Police were everywhere, one was talking to Sakura's sobbing mother.
Soon a body bag on a cot was wheeled out of the house.
Naruko hid her cruel smile with her hand, pretending to look heartbroken. Sasuke played along by pretending to look anxious.
"Sakura's dead!" He exclaimed in 'shock'
Sakura's mother turned to their direction and locked eyes with Naruko. Immediately her eyes were filled with rage
"YOU DEMON WENCH!" she screamed running towards Naruko with her hands stretched forward, hoping to strangle or hit the small girl.
Before anyone could make any movement, possibly due to shock, she was on top of Naruko, hands around her neck, strangling her. "YOU DID THIS! I KNOW YOU DID THIS! YOU KILLED MY BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER YOU EVIL whor*! YOU DEMON! DEMON!"
Naruko was about to throw the woman off her, but she was pulled off and tossed away by Kakashi, who looked furious. "Naru, are you alright?" He asked in concern as Sasuke helped her up. They stood protectively in front of their mate, glaring at anyone who could possibly harm her.
"ARREST HER! KILL HER! SHE DID THIS TO MY DAUGHTER! SHE KILLED MY SAKURA!" the woman was being held back by her husband and a few of the police. Her eyes were filled with rage and insanity. "I'LL KILL HER! GIVE ME A KUNAI SO I MAY SLIT HER THROAT!"
Kakashi released an animalistic growl. "If you so much as touch a hair on her head, I will kill you" he threatened. "And it will not be a quick painless one"
The woman paled in fear and clammed up, but her anger was still evident in her eyes.
"Let's get out of here" Sasuke said already leading Naruko away.
The blonde looked over her shoulder at the weeping woman. Part of her wondered, did she go too far? Was killing Sakura a mistake? But the darker part of her was thinking: good riddance
A/n: I've been thinking about Naruko going away on a three year journey with Jiraiya for the skip. Also so she can re-learn how to summon toads and stuff, and I wondered, should he find out that she's from the future and all the hardships she endured, or should he fall for the story of how she's always been a girl and that Minato put her under a jutsu?
